In the city application Kyiv Digital, it became possible to create one-time QR-tickets from limited travel tickets - from 23 to 124 trips, valid until the end of the month. This was announced by the head of digital transformation and Deputy Chairman of the KMDA Petro Olenych.
If the user purchased a plastic transport card, pupil or student pass and forgot the plastic at home, then in the "Transport card" section, you can create QR-tickets that are valid until the end of the day.
If the passenger does not use the generated QR ticket by midnight, the trip will simply return to the transport map.
The possibility is also available for a digital transport card.
Other improvements based on user feedback were added to the updated version of Kyiv Digital. From now on, the image of the transport card will display both the valid travel card and the one purchased for the next month.
Also, if a digital card is mistakenly linked to a plastic bank card, Android users will receive a personalized push notification with a request to relink.
In addition, we added a restriction to delete the digital transport card only through the support service - in order to protect users from accidental deletion of the card.
The Kyiv Digital application update is now available for download. To do this, you should download the updated version of Digital in the App Store and Google Play.
