The capital authorities call on Kyiv residents to refrain from swimming in reservoirs and participating in mass events on Vodokhreshche, January 6.
This is reported by the KMDA.
"We urge you to refrain from swimming in water bodies on Vodokhreshche and participating in mass events. The city authorities remind of the need to observe security measures and restrictions that operate under martial law," the KMDA emphasized.
At the same time, to prevent dangerous situations in Kyiv, the work of rescuers will be organized at traditional locations for Vodochreshch.
For example, on Obolonsky Beach, rescuers from the Kyiv Rescue Service will be on duty, and in the Hydropark - representatives of the Municipal protection".
Remember, church holidays in 2024 will be celebrated entirely according to the new calendar. All dates have shifted by 13 days, but there are also such holidays that will be celebrated regardless of the church reform.
Thus, starting this year, Epiphany in Ukraine will be celebrated 6 January instead of the 19th.
