In Kyiv imposed restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles in hot weather

In connection with the hot weather in Kyiv, the patrol police imposed restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles.

The restrictions apply to vehicles with a total weight of more than 24 tons and an axle load of more than 7 tons. They concern both the entrance to Kyiv and movement around the city.

According to the police, the restriction was introduced to preserve the road surface, which is destroyed as a result of heavy traffic of heavy vehicles in hot weather.

The duration of the restriction may vary in accordance with the temperature regime.
