150 legal Christmas tree fairs will operate in the capital until December 31 (+list of locations)

Until December 31, 150 legally placed seasonal fairs selling natural conifers and New Year's decorations will operate in Kyiv. This is reported by the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development.

The organizers of seasonal fairs for the sale of natural conifers in the capital are municipal enterprises subordinate to the Department: KP Volodymyrsky Rynok, KP Zhytniy Rynok, KP Svitoch of Kyiv and KP Kyiv Heritage.

The Department urges to buy conifers only at official points of sale, because Christmas trees are sold in spontaneous markets without documents and can be harmful. Conifers sold at official points of sale are grown on special plantations by forestry enterprises.

How to distinguish an official fair for the sale of conifers from a spontaneous one:

• at official points of sale, each Christmas tree has an identification tag with a digital number, which can be used to check the legality of the origin of the tree;
• the site must be properly equipped and located at the address according to the list of seasonal fairs for the sale of natural conifers.
