Passengers are warned about changes: on August 24, three trolleybuses will not run to the center of Kyiv

On August 24, the routes of trolleybuses No. 6, No. 16 and No. 18 will be temporarily changed in Kyiv due to events in the central part of the capital.

As reported by  KP "Kyivpastrans", the changes will be effective from the start of the movement until the end of the planned events, approximately until 21:00.

How the trolleybuses will run

During this period, the routes of three trolleybuses will be shortened. They will run:

• trolleybus No. 6 — from Minsky massif to Povitroflotsky overpass;
• trolleybus No. 16 — from Mriya Street to Povitroflotsky overpass;
• trolleybus No. 18 — from Soshenka Street to Povitroflotsky overpass.

Thus, passengers of these routes should take into account that trolleybuses will temporarily not run on the usual routes to the central part of the capital.

“We ask passengers to take into account temporary changes when planning their routes and to provide additional travel time in advance,” — the Kyivpastrans KP reported.

When will normal routes return

The restrictions will be in effect until the end of the events in the center of Kyiv. The estimated time of restoration of full traffic is 21:00 on August 24.

At the same time, the actual time of the return of trolleybuses to normal routes will depend on the end of the events and the relevant regulations on the organization of traffic.

Passengers are advised to check the latest information on the operation of public transport before traveling and take into account possible changes in the traffic situation in the central part of Kyiv.
