The Military Commissariat of one of Kyiv's districts was handed a protocol on corruption: details

Law enforcement officers handed over a report on corruption to the Military Committee of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support of one of Kyiv's districts.

This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

It is noted that the official violated the requirements of the anti-corruption legislation regarding the prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest.

What is it about?

The law enforcement officers reported that the head of one of the regional Territorial centers of recruitment and social support in the city of Kyiv appointed a person close to him to the position of the center.

"By his actions, he violated the requirements of Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Prevention of Corruption" - he did not take measures to prevent a conflict of interests," the Ministry of Internal Affairs wrote.

What threatens him

According to the current legislation, an offense related to corruption is subject to administrative liability. Therefore, in relation to the official, an administrative protocol was drawn up according to part 1 and 2 of the article. 172-2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

"For violation of the requirements for the prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest, responsibility is provided in the form of imposing a fine from two hundred (3,400 hryvnias) to four hundred (6,800 hryvnias) non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens," the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.
