On Wednesday, January 28, the Russian army carried out another attack on the Kyiv region. As a result of the shelling in the Buchansky district, significant destruction and human casualties were recorded. This was reported by the Kyiv region police.
In particular, an apartment building, two vehicles, and an administrative building were damaged. A man and a woman died as a result of the strike. Medics provided assistance to their four-year-old child directly at the scene. Three more people were injured, but refused hospitalization.
“Unfortunately, two civilians died as a result of the attack. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the war crime of the Russian Federation,” the Kyiv region police noted.
Investigative and operational teams, rescuers and medical services are working at the scene of the attack. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of the laws and customs of war.
