The "Independence of Ukraine" exhibition was opened at the "Golden Gate" metro station for Independence Day

The art exhibition "Independence of Ukraine", timed to celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine, opened in the lobby of the "Zoloti Vorota" metro station. Anyone can visit the exhibition until August 25.

As reported by KP "Kyiv Metropoliten", the Kyiv Metropolitan University named after Boris Grinchenko became the organizer of the art project. The curator of the exhibition is the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and innovative development of the university, deputy of the Kyiv City Council Alla Shlapak.

The exposition presents the creative works of students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the university. It demonstrates the diversity of modern art education and introduces visitors to works made in various genres and artistic styles.

The exhibition presents:

• painting and graphic works;
• cityscapes of Kyiv;
• architectural motifs;
• still lifes;
• portraits;
• genre compositions;
• images of notable Ukrainian figures.

"Through their works, the authors interpret independence as an important value of Ukrainian society, turning to the topics of cultural heritage, national identity and historical memory", - noted in KP "Kyiv Metropoliten".

The organizers emphasize that the exhibition is designed not only to present the creative achievements of young artists, but also to draw attention to Ukrainian culture, history and spiritual values on the eve of the national holiday.

The exposition is located in the lobby of one of the most famous stations of the Kyiv metro, so both residents of the capital and guests of the city can get acquainted with the works while using the subway.

Entrance to the exhibition is carried out according to the rules for using the subway. The exposition can be viewed until August 25.
