The lobby No. 2 of the Pochaina metro station is temporarily out of service due to damage caused by the night shelling of the capital. This was reported by the Kyiv Metro Enterprise.
As a result of the attack, all stained glass windows of the exit from the underground passage were damaged. Because of this, the lobby No. 2 was closed to passengers while necessary work was carried out to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
At the same time, the Pochaina metro station itself continues to operate as usual.
Currently, passengers need to use Vestibule No. 1, through which both the entrance to the station and the exit from it are carried out. It is located in the direction of McDonald’s.
Kyiv Metro notes that all necessary specialists are working on site to eliminate the consequences of the night attack.
“Vestibule No. 2 will be opened after the completion of the necessary work. We will inform you about its resumption later,” Kyiv Metro said.
Passengers are advised to take into account temporary changes when planning trips and use only the available vestibule No. 1.
We are separately reporting on a temporary change in the movement of the Kyiv Ring Train. Trains are currently passing the Pochaina station without stopping.
Thus, passengers who planned to use the ring train to board or disembark at Pochaina should take this change into account and choose another station.
The resumption of train stops at the Pochaina station and the opening of lobby No. 2 will be reported separately.
