From August 17, road works will begin on Zolotoustivska Street in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, due to which traffic on a certain section will be partially restricted.
This was reported by KK "Kyivavtodor".
The repairs will last until August 31. Employees of the Shevchenkivskyi Road Maintenance Department will repair the asphalt concrete pavement on the section of Zolotoustivska Street from Pavlivska Street to building No. 14.
The exact traffic management regime for the period of work will be determined in accordance with the stages of the repair. At the same time, a complete closure of the entire street is not announced — we are talking about partial restriction of traffic.
The restrictions will apply to the Zolotoustivska section:
Kyivavtodor apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and urges road users to take the restrictions into account when planning their trips.
“We ask drivers to take into account the repair work in advance and, if possible, choose alternative routes to avoid traffic delays,” the Kyivavtodor Traffic Police reported.
Due to the narrowing of the carriageway, the capacity of the street may decrease. Therefore, drivers who regularly use Zolotoustivska should check the current traffic situation before leaving and, if possible, bypass the work area.
This is especially true during morning and evening peak traffic hours. If the trip can be postponed or a different route can be used, this will help reduce the risk of getting into a traffic jam.
Pedestrians and drivers are also advised to pay attention to temporary road signs, fences and instructions from workers who will regulate traffic during the work.
After the repair is completed, traffic on Zolotoustivska Street should resume as normal.
