On August 29 and 30, a number of buses and trolleybus No. 34 in Kyiv will temporarily change routes due to seasonal fairs.
As reported by the Kyivpastrans KP, the changes will be in effect from the start of traffic until the end of the fairs. Trade will take place on Amvrosiy Buchma Boulevard, Holosiivska, Mykola Zakrevskoho, Akademik Shalimov, Tatarska and Ihor Yukhnovsky streets.
On Saturday, seven public transport routes will operate on the changed routes.
Bus No. 2 will run from Vakhtang Kikabidze Street to Vitaliya Skakuna Street along its own route, then along Vaclav Havel Boulevard, Garmatnaya Street and Beresteyskyi Avenue to Sholudenka Street. In the return direction, the bus will operate without changes.
Bus No. 39 will operate according to the following scheme: Holosiivskyi Avenue — Nauky Avenue — Lysohirska Street to the traffic interchange at the intersection with Raketnaya and Panorama Streets — Lysohirska Street — Lysohirskyi Lane. The return direction will remain unchanged.
Bus No. 49 will run from the Bereznyaki city train station to Amvrosiia Buchma Boulevard along its own route, then along Pavla Tychyna Avenue and Dniprovska Embankment, after which it will return to its normal route.
Bus No. 87 from the Osokorky metro station to Amvrosiia Buchma Boulevard will run according to its own scheme, then along Pavla Tychyna Avenue, Bereznyakivska Street and continue along its route.
Bus No. 95 in the direction of Rusanivske Sady will run from the Bereznyaki city train station to Yurii Shumsky Street, then along Pavla Tychyna Avenue and Dniprovska Naberezhna, after which it will return to its normal route.
Bus No. 101 from the Pochaina metro station to Chervonoy Kalyna Avenue will run on its own route, then — along Ronald Reagan and Mykola Zakrevskoho streets.
Trolleybus No. 34 will temporarily run from Pivnichna Street to Stepana Bandera Avenue.
On Sunday, the changes will apply to buses No. 31, No. 110 and No. 112.
Bus No. 31 will run from the Polytechnic Institute metro station via Beresteyskyi Avenue, Bohdan Havrylyshyn Street, Mytrofan Dovnar-Zapolsky Street, Dehtyarivska Street, Belorusska Street, Derevlyanska Street, Yuriy Illenko Street, Academician Romodanov Street, Zagorivska Street and Prince Volodymyr Monomakh Street to Tatarska Street.
Buses No. 110 and No. 112 will run from the Ukrainian Heroes Square and Lukyanivska Metro Stations to Raiduzhna Street, respectively, along their own routes. Then the transport will move along Ivan Mykytenko Street, Sirozhupanniky Street and Ihor Yukhnovsky Street, after which it will return to its own routes. In the opposite direction, the buses will run without changes.
The Kyivpastrans KP asks passengers to take into account temporary changes when planning their trips.
Due to the fairs in some areas, travel time may increase. Passengers should check the current traffic pattern of their route in advance and, if possible, allow additional time for the trip.
"We ask passengers to take into account changes in public transport traffic when planning their routes," - reported the Kyivpastrans KP.
The temporary schemes will be in effect until the end of the fairs in each of the designated places.
