Kyiv's utility services will begin supplying heating water overnight to residential buildings left without heat as a result of enemy shelling on January 9 and 20, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced.
"Tonight, heating water will begin flowing to buildings that were left without heat twice – on January 9 and 20 – due to shelling and infrastructure damage. There are currently 3,260 such buildings. It will take approximately two days for the heat to reach Kyiv residents' apartments," the mayor noted.
According to Vitali Klitschko, water supply in the capital has already been restored to all customers. Meanwhile, utility and power companies are continuing to restore heat and electricity.
"Utility and power companies are continuing to work to restore heat and electricity to Kyiv residents as quickly as possible," the mayor emphasized.
City officials urge residents to be understanding of the situation and to follow official reports on the progress of restoration work.
